😊 Hi, everyone!
I would like to post some speaking tips and exercises to make this skill easier for our students.
Hope it would be useful either for English teachers to use it in their lessons or for parents who want to review speaking skills with her/his children at home.
There we go… SPEAKING IS FUN!
Storytelling: Storytelling games is a motivational way to practice our students speaking skills. I believe the key is that they need to feel confident when they talk in front of others. How can we give our students that confidence? With practice and time.
Role play: Children like role playing games, they like to asume other roles such a being a mummy, a policeman, whatever. It's a good opportunity for them to practice their speaking skills like learning expressions for real situations.
Discussions: Discussions are a good opportunity, as well, to encourage learners to participate and lose their shame. Moreover, discussions not only are useful for learning new ways of expressions but also it is useful for children to learn wait turns and learn to listen other opinions.
